LEHMAN Mrs. Sarah W. Lehman, 92, of Berne, the widow of Enos Lehman, died at 8:06 a.m. Friday at Swiss Village. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church. Born in Monroe township on Feb. 24, 1882, she was a daughter of Christian J. and Magdalena Neuenschwander-Leichty, and was married to Enos W. Lehman on Sept. 10, 1903. Her husband died in 1962. Survivors include son, Edgar Lehman of Rock Ledge, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Lorena) Wachtel of Loudonville, O., and Mrs. Jerome (Edna) Hawbaker of route 1, Geneva; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One son, Glenford, and two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Wulliman and Leona, preceded Mrs. Lehman in death. Seven brothers and sisters also preceded her in death: Amos, Albert, Walter, and a brother in infancy, Mrs. Metta Lehman, Mrs. Emma Lehman and a sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Yager funeral home, with Rev. Kenneth Bauman and Rev. Gordon J. Neuenschwander officiating and burial will be in the MRE Cemetery.
