The home of Mrs. Anna Ripberger, corner of Eighth and Monroe Street, was badly damaged by fire, starting from explosion of a coal oil stove, late this evening. No one was home at the time of the explosion, which was caused when a can of water boiled over on the stove, spraying burning oil over the entire kitchen. The kitchen was totally destroyed, and smoke rnnied practically all furniture in the house, except for the front room of the residence, which is occupied by a beauty shop.
