Gase, died at the Adams County Memorial Hospital at 8:50 p.m. Saturday after a several month's illness of coomplications. She was born April 5, 1875, in Seneca County, O., the daughter of John and Mary Zahm-Bogner. She was married to George L. Gase May 5, 1898. Mrs. Gase was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the St. Mary's ___ and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Survivors include the following children: Herman, at home; John of Riverside, IA; Leo of Detroit; Raphael, Norbert and Lawrence, all of Fort Wayne; Hubert of Decatur; Mrs. Lawrence Beckmeyer of Decatur and Mrs. Frank Rindler of Maria Stein, O.; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Austin Straub of Cambridge City; William Bogner and Otto Bogner of Branch, Mich., Mrs. Theresa Upheil of Huntington; Robert Bogner of Enfanta, Ala.; and Lawrence of Fort Wayne. A son, George was killed when struck by an auto January 2, 1931; another son, Jerome was killed in an auto accident Aug 12, 1938; and a daughter died when one and one--half years of age. Three sisters and two brothers are deceased. Funeral services will be held at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Wednesday at 9 a.m. Rev. J. J. Seimetz officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The body will be removed to the residence, one mile north of Decatur, from the Zwick funeral home this evening and may be viewed after 7 o'clock.
