KRICK Gene O. Krick, 50, route 2, Ohio City, a native of Decatur, died at 2:35 a.m. today (Ohio time) at home of cancer. He was born on May 28, 1940 in Decatur to Orley and Naomi Ramsey Krick and married Phyllis Stetler on January 27, 1962; she survives. He was employed as a maintenance man at Glenmore Farmers Grain Co., in Glenmore, Ohio and was a member of Trinity Friends church in Van Wert, Ohio. Other survivors include a daughter, Stacie Krick, Columbus, Ohio; a son, Brett Krick, Van Wert; two sisters, Marvene Buuck, route 8, Decatur and Vera Jamison, 104 N. 10th St., and two brothers, Vance Krick, Ohio City and Gerald Krick, 109 S. Fourth St. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday (Ohio time) in Trinity Friends Church, with burial in Decatur cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-9 p.m. Wednesday (Ohio time) in Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert and noon - 1 p.m. Thursday (Ohio time) at the church. Preferred memorials are to the church.
