Born in Adams County on July 28, 1900, she was married to August Homan; he died Jan. 23, 1953 (crossed out and written 1955). Survivors include one son, Charles Spangler, Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Doris) Neal , Prospect, Pa. and Mrs. Melvin (Genevieve) Plunkard, Mars, Pa.; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Three brothers, one grandson and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death. Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Winteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home, Rev. Frederick Bunts officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Calling is from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. (Handwritten dates of b. July 28, 1900; d.
