ACKERMAN Ruth E. Ackerman, 88, Decatur, a former resident of rural Monroeville died late Sunday afternoon in Woodcrest Nursing Center after a long illness. Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ludean (Grace A.) Heller, Monroeville; a son; and a sister. Her husband, Harold I. Ackerman, died on April 5, 1977. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Monroeville, with burial in IOOF Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Marquart and Jacobs Funeral Home, Monroeville, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.
