I found where Leo is buried. He is buried with his sister Bessie and parents John and Susie at Ray Cemetery. This cemetery is located 1 1/2 miles west of Monroe, IN in Monroe Twp. According to the notation in the book the stone shows the birth and death years of John and Susie but not Leo or Bessie. I looked in the Adams Co. Death Records trying to find a date of death so I could search for an obit in the Berne Witness, but was unable to find it. His name may have been John Leonard Springer or perhaps just Leonard Springer. I can find no death record for him. My grandmother remembers his death and his saying to her, "It hurts!"
