Although he had been in failing health, his death was unexpected. Mr. Burke was formerly supervisor of Kraft Foods plant in Decatur, and for the past 15 years had been supervisor of Kraft Foods in Cadillac Mich. He was a member of a hunting party in Michigan and was found dead in bed when the hunting party returned to the lodge about noon Tuesday. Born in Blue Creek Township Feb. 8, 1914, he was a son of William and Alta Bryan-Burke, and was married to Lola Patterson March 6, 1937. Mr. Burke was a graduate of the Pleasant Mills high school. Surviving are his wife; two sons, James Burke of Kokomo, and Larry Burke of Cadillac, Mich.; his father, William Burke; two brothers, Marion Burke of Cincinnati, O., and Don Burke of Decatur; and seven grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Peterson funeral home in Cadillac, with burial in Maple Hill cemetery, Cadillac. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
