Nov. 3, 1973 RALPH E. DRAPER DIES AT REST HOME Ralph E. Draper, 68, a former Decatur resident, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday at the Cooper rest home at Bluffton, following an extended illness. He had resided at the rest home since 1969. He was born in Decatur on May 15, 1905, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Draper. Surviving are two children, Mrs. Ray (Doris) Davis, of Convoy, O., and Mrs. Melvin (Genevieve) Plunkard of Mars, Pa.; one stepson, Charles Spangler of Decatur; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Winteregg-Linn funeral home, with Rev. Roy Mickley officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
