He had been in failing health for several years. He was born in Mercer county, O., Jan. 18, 1888, a son of George and Elizabeth Bilderback-Dellinger, and was married to Pearl Everett Jan. 3, 1907. Mr. Dellinger was a member of the United Methodist church at Salem. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Alfred and Melvin Dellinger, both of Fort Wayne, and Fred Dellinger of Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Bernice) Craig of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Doyt (Vivian) Bryan of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. Della Neptune of Fort Wayne; one brother, William Dellinger of Decatur; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. One son is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Zwick funeral home, with Rev. Leigh Felheim officiating. Burial will be in the Tricker Cemetery.
