Bodle, 69, wife of David Bodle, died at her home on Schirmeyer Street at 2 o'clock this morning after an extended illness of heart disease. The deceased was born in Willshire, Ohio, January 12, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thatcher. She had resided in Decatur for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Eighth Street United Brethren Church. Surviving besides the husband and two sons, Earnest Wells of Marion and Orville T. Wells of Kalamazoo, Mi. Two daughters are deceased. Funeral services will be held at the Gillig and Doan Funeral Home at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon and at 2 o'clock at the Bobo U. B. Church. Rev. Luke J. Martin of the Eight Street U. B. Church will officiate. Burial will be made at the Bobo Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home until time for services.
