He was born in Van Wert County, O. January 31, 1900 to John and Slectia (sic) Haker (sic; Harker) Gephart, and was married to Catherine Sanders, July 1, 1925. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Nancy June) Dutton of Warren, O.; a son, David Bryan Gephart, of Warren, O.; four sisters, Mrs. Curt (Mattie) Tumbleson of Rockford, O., Mrs. Clarence (Gladys) Drake of Decatur, Mrs. Bryan (Ireta) Myers of Ohio City, O., and Mrs. Arthur (Lucille) Lillich of Fort Wayne; five brothers, Edward of Fort Wayne, Joseph of Monroeville, Basil of Willshire, O., and Forest of Culvert (sic) City, Calif., and five grandchildren. Funeral rites will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall funeral home in Warren, O., with burial in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, O.
