He was a retired meat cutter for Orley Krugh and worked in Ohio City, Wren and Convoy, O. He also worked on the Robison County directory for many years. He was a lifelong member of Wren United Methodist Church. Born September 28, 1904, he was the son of John P. and Minnie Carter Myers, and was married May 23, 1925, to Ireta Gephart; they were married 62 years and she survives. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Services will be held at 2 p.m. (Ohio time) Wednesday at Zwick-Boltz & Jahn Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Chivington officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.(Ohio time) Tuesday.
