Railing, died at 12:38 p.m. Sunday at the Decatur Community Care Center, where she had been a patient for one month. She had been seriously ill for the past two months. Born in Fostoria, O., Nov. 30, 1901, she was a daughter of Frederick and Myrtle Wildermood-Fell, and was married to Alva F. Railing April 22, 1922. Her husband preceded her in death June 22, 1969. Mrs. Railing was a member of the Zion Lutheran church, the Missionary Society of the church, and the auxiliary of VFW post 6236. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lloyde (Helen) Bird of Celina, O.; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Ruth Railing of Decatur; a half-sister, Mrs. Mildred Swygart of Chester, S.C.; a half-brother, Paul Hindenlang of Decatur route 5; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several stepsisters and stepbrothers. One son, Robert, and two brothers, Ora and Earl Fell, are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zwick funeral home, with Rev. Richard C. Ludwig officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today until time of the services.
