Krick, 93, Van Wert, O., a retired Willshire Township farmer and brother of Floyd Krick, Decatur, died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday in Van Wert County Hospital. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Van Wert. Born on July 5, 1892, in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, He was the son of Dayton and Emma Woods-Krick, and was married on Nov. 26, 1919, to Elda F. Merkle; she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Ruth G. Krick, Van Wert; one brother, Floyd Krick, Decatur; and one sister, Mrs. Ray (Elsie) LaBrun, Wren, O. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, Rev. Robert Linter and Rev. Albert Straley officiating. Burial will be in Van Wert Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday; the family will be present from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Memorials are to the Van Wert Area Nurses Visiting Association or Trinity United Methodist Church.
