Dolch, 56, contractor and builder, died at his home, 642 Mercer Avenue, at 12:15 o'clock this afternoon, following an extended illness. Death was due to complications. Mr. Dolch had been ailing for several months but had not been bedfast until the last five weeks. Mr. Dolch resided in Adams County and Decatur for a number of years. He was born near Tiffin, Ohio, June 26, 1878, a son of Jacob and Catherine Dolch, deceased. His marriage to Dessie Krick of this city took place August 25, 1908. Mr. Dolch resided in Adams County for about 30 years. Three years ago he moved with his family to this city from Toledo, Ohio, where they had resided for the last 23 years. He was a member of the United Brethren Church in Toledo. Surviving besides the widow, are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Dolch, English teacher in the Holland, Ohio schools and Miss Virginia Dolch of this city. Two brothers, Jacob of Blue Creek Township and Henry of near Portland, and a sister Mary of Monroe, also survive. Private funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, 642 Mercer Avenue, with Rev. H. R. Carson, pastor of the local Methodist Episcopal church officiating. The body will be removed to the home Tuesday afternoon from the S. E. Black Funeral Home, and friends may view it after 7 o'clock Tuesday night.
