Drake Dies Last Evening Clarence F. Drake, 71, of 636 North Seventh Street, a retired G. E. employee, was pronounced dead on arrival at 8:05 p.m. Sunday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital. Death was attributed to a coronary and was unexpected. He was born in Mercer County, Ohio, April 27, 1894, a son of William and Lunetta Krick Drake, and was married to Gladys Gephart, January 23, 1915. Mr. Drake was a member of the Union Chapel Evangelical United Brethren Church and the 39's Club. He was employed for many years at the Decatur plant of the General Electric Co. until his retirement. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Robert E. Drake of Decatur, Clarence F. Drake, Jr., of Van Wert, Ohio, and Ronald E. Drake of Bryan Ohio; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three sister, Mrs. Mary Mumma of Spencer, Mrs. Harry (Louis) Jackson of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Basil (Lola) Gephart of Decatur, route 5. One son and one daughter are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Winteregg-Linn Funeral Home, with the Rev. William J. Bushee officiating, assisted by the Rev. R. E. Vance. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today until time of the services.
