Hunnicutt, 56, Willshire, Ohio, died at 7:39 p.m. Thursday in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, after having been in failing health for two month. He lived in Willshire the past 28 years. He was born on March 31, 1935 in Huntington County and married Barbera P. Huffman in 1963; she survives. He retired in 1987 after a 27-year career with International Harvester and Navistar. He attended Willshire United Brethren Church and was a member of Willshire American Legion Post 207, Decatur Moose Lodge 1311, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post at Huntington. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Other survivors are a son, Timothy J. Hunnicutt, Rockford, Ohio; three brothers, Paul Hunnicutt, Huntington; John Hunnicutt, Fort Wayne; and Fred Hunnicutt, Old Town, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Doris) DeArmond, Bluffton; and four grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday (Indiana time) in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, with burial in Willshire Cemetery, including full military graveside rites by Post 207 of the American Legion. Visiting hours are 2-9 p.m. Saturday and noon-2 p.m. Sunday (Indiana times). Preferred memorials are to the church or the Willshire-Wren EMS.
