Death occurred there Saturday evening at eight o'clock, following an illness of a year or more from cancer of the stomach. For nine weeks he was bedfast. Prior to receiving the death message relatives had a letter informing them that he was very low and that death was probable at any time, so that the telegram and that death was probable at any time, so that the telegram of his death was not unexpected. The body will be brought here for burial and will leave Saginaw Tuesday morning at eight o'clock, arriving here at 8:25 Tuesday evening over the Clover Leaf. Surviving children are Mrs. J. D. Tremaine, Beaverton, Mich.; Will Fuhrman, of Saginaw, Mich., with whom he made his home.; Mrs. D. Roebuck, Coleman, Mich; Hubert, a soldier in camp in Texas. A son Albert is deceased. Mrs. Louise Garard of this city is his only full sister. Half-brothers and sisters are Mrs. Barbara Weigert, of Beemer, Neb.; Jake and Henry Fuhrman of Nebraska; Mrs. Fred Ketker, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Harry Kooken, Mrs. Chester Buhler, Hammond; Christ Longenbacher, of this city.
