Irwin, 92, of Decatur, died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday in Woodcrest Nursing Center. She had lived at Chalet Village in Berne for the past six years. She was born on July 16, 1910 in Van Wert, Ohio to Dallas and Daisy Glass Jeweal and married Arthur G. Irwin on October 9, 1926; he died on July 30, 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion United Brethren in Christ Church at Bobo and its ladies aid organization. Surviving are a son, Steve A. Irwin of Decatur; seven daughters, Peggy Hinkle of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Mrs. Ervin (Barbara) Ross, Mrs. Kermit (Daisy) Garner, Mrs. Mile (Kathryn) McGill, Mrs. Gary (Margie) Ross, Mrs. Paul (Jane) Lengerich, and Jackie Haviland, all of Decatur; 30 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, three daughters, two sisters, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Decatur Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
