My Great-Grandfather Friedrick Wietfeldt came to the US in 1852 (Source - US Census 1900) and lived in Adams County Indiana. I assume that his father, Conrad (Konrad?) Friedrich Wilhelm Wietfeldt (1815-1888) also came at that time, but have not been able to verify it. Conrad's father was Johann Karl Wietfeldt (1783-1869). That is as far back as my records go.
