Interment will be made in the Pleasant Dale cemetery. The Rev. Jay Smith, of Craigville, will officiate at the funeral services. Mr. Smith was stricken with paralysis early last winter and had been in poor health since that time. He suffered a second stroke about a week ago, causing his death. The deceased was a son of Henry and Nancy Reber, and was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, November 3, 1851. On January 1, 1879, Mr. Reber was married to Mary Elizabeth Stalter of Allen county, Ohio. Seven children were born to this union, five of whom survive. Two, Samuel and Meta, died when about two years old. Mr. Reber had resided on the same farm in Kirkland township, four miles south and three miles west of Decatur, since he was four years old. He was a member of the Christian Union church at Honduras. He retired from the occupation of farming about two years ago. Surviving are the widow and five children, namely: Marion, of Decatur; Mrs. Van Bowman and Mrs. Ocie Hendricks, of Monroe township; George, of Washington township, and Earl of Root township. There are 27 grandchildren and one great granddaughter surviving also. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
