Some still live there. Its a pity you cannot trace it back to the person who actually lived there. My records only cover the Wietfelds in Germany (and then not even all). They can be traced back, however, to some of the principals of Hannover, from there on to several lower nobles (Knights) and from there to the Carolingians.
