Shady, 69, Fort Wayne, brother of a Berne woman, died Saturday in Joseph Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was a native of Bluffton who retired in 1986 after an 18-year career with Montgomery Ward and Co. Surviving are his wife, Lowneta M. Shady; two daughters, including Joy S. Shady, Hoagland; two sisters, including Rema McKean, Berne; and two brothers. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Bethel Evangelical Mennonite Church, Fort Wayne, with burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
