She was born on December 5, 1932 in Van Wert to Arthur and Freeda Jeweal Irwin. Her mother is a rural Decatur resident; her father is deceased, She married Kenneth D. Ross on Nov. 21 1949 and he also survives. Mrs. Ross was a homemaker. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Sandra) Clay, Walbridge, Ohio and Mrs. David (Kathleen) Parker and Kendra Amweg, both of Ohio City; a brother, Steve Irwin, rural Decatur; seven sisters, Peg Hinkle, Bellefontaine, Ohio; Mrs. Ervin (Barbara) Ross and Mrs. Jim (Jackie) Haviland, both of rural Decatur; and Mrs. Kermit (Daisy) Garner, Mrs. Mike (Kate) McGill, Mrs. Gary (Marge) Ross, and Mrs. Paul (Jane) Lengerich, all of Decatur; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daugher, Debra Ross, who died in infancy; two brothers, Jim and Mike Irwin and a sister, Dorothy Cook. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. (Indiana time) in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur with burial in Decatur cemetery. Visiting hours are 1-8 p.m. Thursday (Indiana time).
