We also have a son for him named Heinrich Wilhelm Wietfeldt, 18.4.1818 - 20.5.1897), who has among his descendants my wife and kids. The wife of Franz Christian Friedrich Wietfeldt, Christiane Sophie Magdalene, gb. Ripken, the mother of Johann and Wilhelm, is the one my daughter tracked back towards the Pippinians. So we just need to track down where your Konrad Wietfeldt comes from. Perhaps his untimely death with 12 just puts down the date when the boy vanished, to show up again years later in the States. Or there is another son, named after the first. Or whatever. The other data are simply too close for this to be a random connection. Perhaps we can track that one down.
