He was born on August 14, 1952, in Willshire to Nile E. and Adeline Strickler Lough. His father is deceased; his mother lives in Willshire. He married Linda Gruss on August 3, 1974 and she also survives. He was a truck driver for ATL Inc. in Decatur and a member/director of the Old-Fashioned Farmers' Association of Van Wert County, Ohio, and the Sons of the American Legion at Willshire Post 207. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, Ohio. Other survivors are a son, Denny Lough of Huntington; a daughter, Christa K. Lough of Decatur; a sister, Jeanne Harvey of Decatur; and three grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur. Burial will be in Willshire Cemetery. Visiting hours are 4-7 p.m. Monday and 1-4 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, with a scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to the Mercer County Hospice at Celina, Ohio, and to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
