He had been ill three weeks. Born in Decatur on October 17, 1910, he was the son of Frank and Ida Nuffer-Hirshey, and was married on Jan. 19. 1929, to Josephine Cook, who survives. He resided in Geneva 43 years. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lough of Decatur; Mrs. Anna Vorhees of Geneva; one son, Charles Hirshey of Geneva; one brother, Harry Hirshey of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hardy & Hardy funeral home, with Rev. Paul Hirshey officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery, located east of Geneva.
