Hamrick, 95, Willshire, Ohio, died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday. He was the oldest resident of that town at the time of his death, having lived there for 67 years. He was born on May 29, 1903 in Adams County to Miles W. and Amanda Garwood Hamrick and married Iola K. Cordell on September 24, 1924; she died on March 17, 1998. He retired in 1963 from the General Electric Co. plant in Decatur after a 20-year career and was formerly employed by Willshire Co-op for 10 years. He was also a former employee with the old Nickel Plate Railroad, working on a section gang that maintained the tracks. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Decatur. Surviving are three sons, Richard D. Hamrick, Valparaiso, Indiana; Ralph W. Hamrick, Willshire; Ray L. Hamrick, Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Phyllis K.) Myers, Willshire, and Eunice E. Reppert, Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-greatgrandchildren. Deceased are a grandchild; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Goldie Joseph and Vesta Hamrick; and nine brothers; Albert, Samuel, Kenneth, Frank, William, Calvin, Roy, James and John Hamrick. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, with burial in Willshire Cemetery. Visiting hours are 1 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
