Myers, 83, formerly of one-half mile west of Wren, O (route 2, Ohio City, O), died at 1:55 a.m. Sunday in Van Wert County, O., Hospital, Van Wert, O., where she was a patient one day. She was a resident of the Van Crest Nursing Home the last two years. She was a retired employee of Wren, Convoy, and Ohio City Lockers, and a life member of Wren United Methodist Church. Born in Willshire Township, Van Wert County, on July 25, 1904, she was the daughter of John and Amanda Harker-Gephart, and was married May 23, 1925, to Bryan Myers. They were married 62 years; he died June 21, 1987. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lucille Lillich, Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews. Six brothers and three sisters preceded in death. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zwick, Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, Revs. David Chivington and John H. Dean officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, O. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are to Wren EMS or Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses Association.
