Myers, 74, of Willshire, Ohio, died at 8:54 p.m. Sunday in Adams County Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 31, 1928 in Adams County to Herman and Frances P. Colter Myers and married Phyllis K. Hamrick on December 16, 1950; she survives. He retired in 198 from the General Electric Co., plant in Decatur after almost 40 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Willshire; the Masonic Lodge in Ohio City, Ohio; the Scottish Rite of Toledo, Ohio; and the American Legion Post in Van Wert, Ohio. During the Korean War, he served in the U. S. Marine Corps. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Kimberly S.) Seward of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and Mrs. David (Angela K.) Rothgeb, Jr. of Fort Wayne; a sister, Patricia A. Myers, of Berne; two brothers, James R. Myers of Lima, Ohio and John W. Myers of Willshire; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Willshire Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Indianapolis or Dayton, Ohio.
