Luginbill, 80, of rural Decatur, died suddenly at 11:28 a.m. Monday in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne. She was born on January 9, 1924, in Adams County to Samuel and Nora Frank Hamrick. She married Robert D. Luginbill on November 7, 194[2]; he survives. She was a homemaker who was a member of Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene, rural Berne, and was secretary to the board of the Nazarene church in Decatur for 35 years. Other survivors are three daughters, Connie Wilson and Mrs. Randy (Kathy) Reynolds, both of Decatur, and Mrs. Gary (JoEllen "Jody") Lengerich of Berne; three sons, Mike Luginbill of Kankakee, Illinois; Greg Luginbill of Enon, Ohio; and Jeff Luginbill of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Lindy (Norma) Lybarger of North Manchester and Mrs. Tom (Carolyn) Baker of Celina, Ohio; four brothers, Charles Hamrick of Decatur; Clarence and Duane Hamrick, both of Willshire, Ohio; and Paul Hamrick of Monroe; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A brother is deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene, with burial in the church cemetery. Visiting hours are 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church. Preferred memorials are to the mission fund at Mt. Hope Church.
