Coil, 77, Spencerville, Ohio, formerly of Willshire, Ohio, and the mother of Edwin E. Coil, route 4, Decatur, died unexpectedly at 9 p.m. Saturday in her home. She was born in Mercer County, Ohio on July 4, 1908 to Frank and Sarah Rumple Stetler. Her husband, Foster L. Coil, whom she married on February 25, 1926, died on August 11, 1965. Also surviving are three sons, A. Laverne Coil, Delphos, Ohio; Larry F. Coil, Lima, Ohio; and Rex J. Coil, Springfield, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Howell, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Earl (Wilma) Gehron, Willshire, and Mrs. Mark (Teresa) Schwartz, Wapapkoneta, Ohio; two sisters, Zada Marbaugh and Mary Case of Willshire; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Calling is from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery near Converse, Ohio.
