Workinger, 85, route 7, Decatur, a former longtime resident of route1, Monroe, died at 8 a.m. today at her residence after being in failing health several years. She was born on April 11, 1906 in Van Wert County, Ohio to William, and Grace Hileman Black and married Harry S. Workinger on June 21, 1924. He died August 10, 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Club, Union United Methodist Church in Blue Creek Township, and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are a brother, Lester Black, Akron, Ohio; two sisters Marguerite Kesler, Willshire, Ohio, and Mrs. Lewis (Jane) Kesler, Laurel, Indiana; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Two sons Robert D. Workinger and William D. Workinger, are deceased, as are two sisters who died in infancy. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Revs. Ersel Potts and Brude McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Tricker Cemetery, Adams County. Visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Preferred memorials are to the church. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
