Reed, 70, Fort Wayne, died Saturday in Lutheran Hospital. The Decatur native resided in Fort Wayne the past 56 years. She retired in 1975 from the General Electric Co. Her husband, Stanley L. Reed, died in 1980. Surviving are three daughters, including Bessie Fuhrmann, Hoagland; one son; one brother; three sisters, including Lulu Bolt, 126 Ogg St.; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday in D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Decatur. Visiting hours at the funeral home are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today.
