She had not been ill and her death was unexpected. She was born in Union township July 23, 1885, a daughter of John P. and Martha D. Luckey-Spuller, and was married to J. Earl Butler May 17, 1910. Her husband, a retired rural mail carrier, preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1946. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Bethany Evangelical United Brethren church, the Pythian Sisters, Historical club, Garden club, and Home Economics club. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Martha Erman) Kleinhenz of Decatur, and a grandson, Ted Alan Kleinhenz. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Zwick funeral home, the Rev. F. P. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery.
