Suman, 77, Decatur, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community. She was born in Willshire, Ohio, on June 29, 1929, to Oscar E. and Hela (sic) M. Slusser Miller. She married Gordon C. Suman on March 28, 1947; he survives. She was a homemaker who also worked 12 years at the former CTS Corp. site in Berne. She was a member of Praise Point United Brethren Church at Willshire. Other survivors are two sons, Dave Suman of Decatur and Bill Suman of Pennville; three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Vicki) Bollenbacher of Rockford, Ohio and Mrs. Richard (Jayne) Ridenour and Mrs. Mark (Sue) Bellante, both of Pennville; a sister, Louise Brown of Willshire; two brothers, Jay Miller of Lima, Ohio, and Robert Miller of Willshire; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, four brothers and a grandson are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Praise Point United Brethren Church, with burial in Willshire Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Preferred memorials are to the church, to Adams County Home Health Service, or to Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana, Berne.
