Dailey, 78, route 2, Berne, the widow of Stanton R. Dailey, died at 7:05 a.m. Sunday at the Caylor-Nickel Hospital, Bluffton, where she had been hospitalized four weeks. Born in Mercer County, Ohio, on June 2, 1901, she was the daughter of Louis and Marie Schultz-Brandt, and was married on Feb. 17, 1923, to Stanton R. Dailey, who died April 8, 1970. Survivors include eight children, Mrs. Paul (Alma) Kable, Mrs. Katherine Bair, and Mrs. Margorie Dodane, all of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Max (Mary) Bennett, New Haven; Robert L., Convoy, Ohio; Charles L., David E., and Thomas W., all of route 2, Berne; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. On son, Stanton, two brothers, Louis and Emil Brandt, and one grandchild preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary W. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Chattanooga, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
