Hoffman, died at 3 p.m. Monday at a Richmond [Wayne Co] hospital. She was born in Allen County April 23, 1862, the daughter of Christian and Rosana Miller, and spent most of her life near Monroeville. Her husband died in 1942. She was a member of the Lutheran church. Surviving are a son, Herman G. Hoffman, and a daughter, Mrs. Rose E. Sommers, both of Decatur; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Three brothers and seven sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Herman Hoffman home, 223 North Eleventh street, with Rev. Paul W. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. The body has been moved from the Zwick funeral home to the residence of the son, where it may be viewed until time of the services.
