Mr. Myers died Friday and his funeral was held Sunday afternoon. His remains were shipped to Bowling Green, O., for interment in a mausoleum at the Bowling Green cemetery. Mr. Myers lived in this city for many years. He was a prominent member of the local post of the Grand Army of the Republic and for many years was its commander. Until two years ago Mr. and Mrs. Myers lived on Adams street in Decatur. Recently they moved to Fort Wayne where Mr. Myers died. Death was due to hardening of the arteries, and infirmities of old age. He was an officer in the Civil War and served the entire war period.
