STEFFEN Funeral services for Ebed (sic) E. Steffen, 71, of Bluffton, who died at 1:25 p.m. Saturday at Clinic Hospital, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Apostolic Christian Church, Rev. Orville Ringger and Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. A retired farmer and native of Adams County, he had lived in Wells County most of his life. He was born April 2, 1906, a son of Enoch and Julia Steffen. His marriage Sept. 20, 1936 was to Lucinda Kipfer, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Robert W. (Virginia) Zaugg of route 2, Ossian; Mrs. Harry (Mabel) Geisel, route 2, Bluffton and Mrs. David (Carmi) Speakman, route 2 Syracuse; one brother Daniel Steffen, Bluffton; two sisters, Mrs. Adam (Katherine) Mani and Mrs. Oliver (Elizabeth) Spangler, both of route 1, Paulding, Ohio and three grandsons.
