The above named Letty Teeter was Hannah Letticia Teeter, sister to my Great-Grandfather John Fremont Teeter. Letty was born 14 Jun 1861 in Darke Co. OH, and came to Adams Co. with her family in 1870. Her parents were Daniel Paul and Mary (Strait) Teeter. At one time Daniel owned nearly 300 acres in Wabash and Monroe Townships, northeast of Berne. D.P., Mary, and many other Teeters are buried in the Crawford Cemetery, east of Berne. Just a little background. Cindy, I didn't know you had SACKETTs in your background.
