You can subscribe to this list in one of two modes. The MAIL mode allows you to receive every posting to INADAMS as a separate email message. The DIGEST mode combines a days worth of postings, normally, and sends them to you as one large email message. All postings to the list will go to both groups automatically. You cannot subscribe to both the MAIL list and the DIGEST list at the same time. There's really no need to try, since both will receive the identical information. To subscribe, please follow these directions precisely: For the MAIL mode, send an email message to INADAMS-L-request@rootsweb.com. The message should have no subject, and the body should have ONLY the word subscribe and nothing else. Be sure to turn off or delete any signature that your email program may attach to your message. For the DIGEST mode, send an email message to INADAMS-D-request@rootsweb.com. Again, the message should have no subject, and the body should contain ONLY the word subscribe and nothing else, especially no signature. If you have problems email me (tsingleton@iclub.org). You will receive a confirmation message when you have subscribed. After that, you can post messages to everyone subscribed by sending your message to INADAMS-L@rootsweb.com, being sure to make your subject clear and concise. If you change email addresses, or want to stop receiving messages from the list, you must unsubscribe by sending email (again, no subject) with only the word unsubscribe in the body of the message to the appropriate address: INADAMS-L- request@rootsweb.com for the MAIL list, or INADAMS-D- request@rootsweb.com for the DIGEST mode.
