I'm an on-again, off-again researcher, depending on my time available. Names I've been researching in Adams County are: Werling Bley Schmidt Germann (really more Van Wert Co., Ohio) I am especially interested in more information on Henry Jacob Schmidt, b. 10/25/1832 d. 7/5/1911 I know he had four wives and am trying to find out more about his second wife (my gr. grandmother), name Catherine Volz (not sure at all on the maiden name).
