I have Emily as marrying John Smith & Calinda as marrying Amos Brandyberry & have the Adams CO IN Marriage records as my source. We can't both be right so will need to double check this, obviously! There were at least THREE Emily Majors: the one already mentioned, Emily A. Major b. 1850 d/o David Major & his 3rd wife Sarah Jane Bloom, & lastly Emily Major b. 1834 married 1851 in Adams CO to Robert GINTER, this Emily was the d/o my William Major & Rachel Watkins. As for R. E. Smith, I have you as my source so we must have discussed this in the past! Ha! doesn't look like we resolved anything does it? Maybe we need to untangle this group.....famous last words!
