    3. Hi, all- Just signed on, thought I'd introduce myself. My Robisons moved into Adams County, Section 26, Monroe Twp., northeast of Berne, in 1865. My Great-Grandfather John R. ROBISON moved there from Crawford Co. Ohio with his wife Sarah Nelson KERR Robison and four children. Several members of her KERR family also moved to Adams County during the same period. Many of them are buried in the Backesto Cemetery. My Grandfather Orrin Melville ROBISON was born in Adams Co. in 1872. He married Daisy Mae TEETER, who was born at her father's farm in Section 6 of Jefferson Twp., east and a little south of Berne. Her father was John Fremont TEETER, and her grandfather was Daniel Paul TEETER, who moved into Adams Co. from Darke Co. Ohio in 1870. The above is offered to establish my roots in Adams Co. I am desperate for information about my Great-Grandmother Martha Ann BAKER, wife of John Fremont Teeter. Martha was born 26 Dec 1855 and died 14 Jun 1901. She and John Teeter married 19 Aug 1880. Her father was Jacob BAKER, and her mother was Hannah CONKLE (Kunkle?). Hannah died 9 Nov 1863 and is buried in a cemetery just a little northeast of Ceylon, i.e. northeast of Geneva. I have no other information on my Bakers, and would very much like to know more. John R. Robison's eldest daughter was Rosanna Jane (Jennie) Robison, who married George W. GATES. Jennie was George's 2nd wife. His first wife was Sarah CRAWFORD. George was born in 1837 and died in 1922. Jennie was born in 1857 and died in 1930. I need exact dates for both of them. They lived in Monroe Twp. just east of the Springhill Church. Any info on ROBISON, TEETER, BAKER, GATES, KERR, CONKLE, et.al. will be deeply appreciated. And thanks to Tim Singleton for starting this list.
