Hi, I am so thankful to have this Adams Co. mailing list. My 3rd GGrandfather was Henry Barnett born 1803 in Culpeper, Va. He died in 1884 in Decatur. He moved to Harrison Co. Ohio as a small child. He was married to Jane Haverfield. They came to Adams Co. Indiana about 1848 from Harrison Co. Ohio. They had 10 children. Henry and Jane Haverfield Barnett had 5 sons that serve in the Civil War with the 89th Indiana Volunteers. Two sons died in the war. John Barnett m. Rachel Andrews James H. Barnett m.
