Tim, Got your inadams message. This is really interesting. Union county, Ohio is the next county west of me. When I first started looking back, I found that my g-g-g-grandfather had been born in Fairfield County, Ohio, the next county east of me. If I can help because of closeness, let me know. I found the Laisure stuff on my first try. I hooked up with David Smith. A lot of my family is buried in the Smith cemetery. It turns out I am related to half the people in Monroe, but never knew it. That was the town my great-grandparents lived in. I am now looking for Raudenbush stuff. That was my great-grandmother's maiden name. She was Elta (Alta) Arvilla Raudenbush Laisure. If you can pass anything on, let me know. I loved that woman. She was about the best person I have ever met in my life. They still tell stories about her in Monroe.
