    3. My Great-Grandfather was John ROBISON, b. 1 Sep 1835 in Perry Co. PA. He moved with his parents at age two to Crawford Co. Ohio, where, on 31 Mar 1857 he married Sarah KERR. Sarah was born 31 Aug 1835 in Perry Co. PA. They moved to Section 26 of Monroe Twp., Adams Co. (NE of Berne) in 1865. Great-Grandma Sarah KERR ROBISON died on 24 Oct 1888, and is buried in the Backesto cemetery. John Robison sold his farm shortly thereafter and moved around some until ca 1898, when he and his third wife bought a ramshackle home in Vera Cruz, Wells Co. He died there on 24 Apr 1924, and is buried next to his first wife in the Backesto Cemetery. Sarah KERR's brother David Marion KERR, married John ROBISON's sister Nancy. David and Nancy are also buried at the Backesto cemetery. (I am related in some way to every ROBISON, KERR, and GATES buried at Backesto.) My Grandfather Orrin M. ROBISON was born in Monroe Twp. Adams Co. on 17 Jun 1872. On 29 Oct 1899, he married Daisy Mae TEETER, who was born on her fathers farm in section 6 of Jefferson Twp. Adams Co. on 28 May 1881. (Her father was John Fremont TEETER. Her grandfather was Daniel Paul TEETER, who moved to Adams co. from Darke Co. Ohio in 1870, and at one time owned nearly 300 acres in Wabash and Monroe Townships.) Almost all of my Teeter kin are buried in the Crawford Cemetery east of Berne. A few are buried in the MRE cemetery west of Berne. Many more details are available on these folks and other kin. I'd like to find an obit of Sarah KERR ROBISON. I haven't checked yet with the Berne newspapers. Might the Berne or Decatur libraries have newspapers this old? Tom Robison Ossian IN
