I am researching the following Adams Co names: HOWER (came from Germany>PA>OH>IN) COFFMAN (David L., died in Adams Co in 1871) HUGHES (Rebecca L., married David Coffman, died in Adams Co in 1872) KEMP (MD>OH>IN) NEFF (Germany>PA>OH>IN) REED (John H., oldest living Civil War vet; died in Adams Co in 1904) my most wanted! ROOP (came from PA>OH>IN) SPANGLER (back to 1150) WILLIAMS (Elijah>Jesse>Mary Ellen) Rootsweb has helped in my research so much that I don't even know where to start. This year has provided lots of successes, which leads to even more questions and more searching. My two major additions have been the Coffman and Kemp families. Both came through posting queries on GenWeb county pages and sharing information with distant cousins who answered those queries.
